untitled

That morning as I watched you walk away
I thought of a thousand things I wanted to say
Wondering if I would live to tell you another day
How much I love you in every way

Upon waking I see you there
So happy to know I made it through
So I could be back here with you

But now I find it hard to say the things
I intended to
But I guess we think of a lot of things when
We think we might die

But one thing I know for sure
My love for you is true
I know God sent you to me

You are my lover my truest friend
And I will be here for you till the end
